Shasta Dam is the largest reservoir in California. It played an important role in World War II, providing massive amounts of electricity. Shasta Dam is located in northern California, the closest city is Redding (CA.) Photo in black and white of the dam, with Mt. Shasta in the background.

Maria is the name my mother gave me. I am a minimalist, a Kindergarten Teacher, a gardener, and a hiker addicted to photography. My art prints is a results of my (inner and outer) explorations. I am a single mom in my early 40's, content, and happy. I have enjoyed photography for 35 years. My first camera was a Hasselblad gifted to me by my grandmother. My explorations are closer to home and heart. I enjoy learning more about the beautiful region Dalarna (Sweden) where I live.
